Entrepreneurship Program Initiative of CGCC (EPIC)

EPIC is a CGCC’s long-term capacity-building program for MSMEs in Cambodia that focuses on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and effective and responsible use of guaranteed loans.

EPIC was launched on 31 January 2024, presided over by H.E. Ros Seilava, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of CGCC’s Board of Directors. 

Through EPIC, CGCC will bring knowledge resources closer to MSMEs for improving their business development.

Targeted Trainees

  • Business operations at least from 1-year up
  • Be a Cambodian owner or decision-maker of Micro and Small Businesses
  • MSMEs who need financing from Banks/MFIs for working capital or business expansion
  • Female candidates are strongly encouraged

How to apply for EPIC?

EPIC 1st Series

All Cambodian business owners or decision-makers of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) who are willing to improve financial literacy and expand capacity building are welcome to attend EPIC.

CGCC reserves the right to select the trainees for each series of EPIC based on eligible criteria per each series topic of focus.

How to be a Co-organizer of EPIC?

Through EPIC, CGCC warmly welcomes collaboration with Participating Financial Institutions (PFI) or stakeholders that are like-minded vision to boost MSMEs’ capabilities and contribute to supporting the government’s policy of promoting financial literacy and developing MSMEs in Cambodia.

EPIC 1st Series of 2024

On 25th May 2024, at the Business Development Center, Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC) and ACLEDA co-organized the Entrepreneurship Program Initiative of CGCC (EPIC) 1st series of 2024 on “Tips in Preparing Business Plan and Strategy to Obtain Formal Financing” with around 20 Selected Micro, Small, and Medium (MESME) Entrepreneurs from Phnom Penh and the 5 Provinces.

EPIC 2nd Series of 2024

On 20 July 2024, at the Business Development Center, Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC) and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) co-organized the Entrepreneurship Program Initiative of CGCC (EPIC) 2nd series of 2024 on “MSME’s Best Practices in Obtain and Effectively Managing Formal Financing”, supported by Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest III of USAID,  highly participated by Mr. NimishJhaveri, Chief of Party of Cambodia Harvest III, Mr. Sar Kinal, Executive Vice President of YEAC, and Mr. No Lida, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CGCC, and distinguished speakers and 51 trainees from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Agriculture sector from Phnom Penh, and 12 Provinces.
